Voice for GCC High Environments Now Available

GCC High organizations can now enable Audio Conferencing and PSTN calling with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing via a new partnership between C3 and CallTower. This is the first time organizations can enable a third-party hosted voice provider within GCC High, closing a known, long-term gap in Office 365 GCC High features.

Voice for GCC High Environments Now Available

GCC High organizations can now enable Audio Conferencing and PSTN calling with Microsoft Teams Direct Routing via a new partnership between C3 and CallTower. This is the first time organizations can enable a third-party hosted voice provider within GCC High, closing a known, long-term gap in Office 365 GCC High features.

As we have discussed previously, Office 365 GCC High is designed to meet the unique security and compliance requirements of the Defense Industrial Base (DIB). This includes a residency in Azure Government, full US data sovereignty, and limited integration with third parties. And while Office 365 GCC High contains most of the functionality found in the commercial versions, some features and service offerings are still being rolled out. Voice services have been a major gap in capabilities until recently.

“Voice services have always been one of the most requested features in GCC High,” reported Bill Wootton, C3’s president. “Especially now, it’s critical that the full communications capabilities of Teams are available to our clients while most of us are not able to meet in person.”
