C3 Integrated Solutions Becomes CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO)

C3 Integrated Solutions is pleased to announce that it has been approved as a Registered Provider Organization (RPO) by the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB).

The CMMC framework is a set of mandatory cybersecurity requirements that all contractors within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) will be required to implement, in order to earn valuable contracts from Defense Department agencies. For the first time ever, these requirements will be verified by an independent CMMC Third Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO). CMMC was created to address the ongoing theft and unauthorized access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) by foreign adversaries through the enforcement of good cyber hygiene and best practices.

“The DoD estimates that over 300,000 organizations across the DIB will need to implement CMMC,” stated C3’s President Bill Wootton. “CMMC requirements can be daunting and many organizations, especially small to medium sized business, may not have the internal expertise or resources to implement them successfully. We at C3 have developed a unique CMMC Readiness Program designed to help companies no matter where they are on their journey to compliance.”

The CMMC framework establishes five certification levels that define the minimum security posture or maturity an organization must achieve as determined by the sensitivity of the information they handle. Eligibility to receive a new DoD contract award or renewal is dependent on achieving CMMC compliance. The C3 Readiness Program leverages Microsoft 365 GCC High to meet CMMC requirements with a phased, modular approach allowing clients to pick the services they need to complete their compliance journey. C3 provides a practical strategy that allows clients to implement services incrementally, at their pace, while maintaining capability and security each step of the way.
